We bill directly with all statutory health insurers. Privately insured customers receive an invoice for reimbursement.
For statutory insurance, a co-payment of usually 10 % of the fare applies – at least €5, at most €10 per trip – unless you are exempt.
For cost coverage you usually need a medical prescription (form “Muster 4”). You can upload it directly as a photo or PDF with your request.
Billing follows the applicable rates. Please keep your prescription and any approval. If the insurer declines coverage, the passenger remains liable for payment.
