Transport to radiotherapy at the MVZ Günzburg
For Niederstotzingen, Sontheim, Hermaringen and the villages along the Danube, Günzburg is the shortest way to radiotherapy – fifteen minutes from Niederstotzingen, eighteen from Sontheim. Why Günzburg is the right address for the Danube villages
From Niederstotzingen it is 12.8 kilometres, from Sontheim 15.8, from Hermaringen 24.1. To Ulm or Heidenheim it would be two to three times as far – across thirty trips in six weeks that adds up to hundreds of kilometres. If you live in the south of the district, you are simply done sooner here.
- A short trip, dependable all the same. Eleven minutes is not an attractive job for a taxi switchboard. With us your course of radiotherapy is in the schedule like any long trip.
- We obtain the approval from your health insurer. Across the state border too – a Bavarian destination with a Baden-Württemberg home address is everyday work for us.
- We wait on site, however long it takes. That is not a goodwill gesture, it is a firm commitment.
- Accompanied inside. It depends on how you are feeling – it is needed more often than people think, and it costs nothing extra.
- A companion costs nothing. Please still let us know in advance that someone is coming along.
- One site, three destinations. If dialysis or a hospital appointment is added to the radiotherapy, we plan both together.
Prescription, approval, co-payment
- Prescription: Form Muster 4, issued for the whole series – not per trip. Your treating practice issues it.
- Approval: A course of radiotherapy counts as high-frequency treatment, box 1d on the form. It requires approval, but insurers grant it as a matter of course for this indication. We obtain the approval for you.
- Co-payment: 10 per cent of the fare, at least 5 and at most 10 euros per trip. Children under 18 pay nothing.
- Co-payment exemption: With a long series of trips the annual cap is reached quickly. After that you pay nothing at all – applying to your insurer is almost always worth it.
- Billing: directly with your health insurer. You pay nothing up front.

What we drive – and what we do not
- Seated passengers. A folding wheelchair and a rollator come along.
- If you have to stay in your wheelchair, we arrange the trip through our partner firm – one call to us is enough.
- We do not carry out stretcher transports or carry-chair transfers down stairs.

Yes. What counts is the nearest suitable place of treatment, not the federal state. We put the justification in the application.
Can you drive me to the planning CT as well?
Yes. That appointment is part of the series and is prescribed with it – please tell us about it straight away.
And what if my slot is at seven in the morning?
Times earlier than 06:30 we arrange once in advance. After that it holds for the whole series.
