Dialysis

The first ride and the return pick-up, with luggage, whether the clinic is in Krumbach, in the Allgäu or on the Baltic coast. Whether your health insurer or the pension insurance pays, we clarify in advance.

Your destination is not on this list

This page shows the destinations we drive to most often – not the only ones. A practice in Ulm, a specialist clinic in the Allgäu, an eye operation in Dillingen, follow-up care in Munich: we drive to every destination for which a prescription exists, and to every one without – including hospitals not listed here: Uniklinikum Erlangen, Marienhospital Stuttgart, Klinikum Memmingen, the Alb-Fils-Kliniken in Göppingen. Give us the address and we will tell you the travel time and whether your insurer pays.

One limit remains: we carry passengers seated. A folding wheelchair and a rollator travel with you. If you have to stay seated in your wheelchair, we arrange the ride through our partner firm. Lying transport is handled by the emergency medical service, 0731 19222.

Frequently asked questions

Do you drive to destinations not listed here?

Yes. The list is a selection of the most frequent destinations, not a limit. Give us the address – we will tell you the driving time and whether your insurer pays.

What does a medical transport cost me?

For a prescribed and approved trip you pay 10 per cent of the fare, at least 5 and at most 10 euros per trip. Children under 18 pay nothing. The rest we bill directly to your insurer.

Do I have to obtain the approval myself?

No. You hand us the prescription and we obtain the approval from your insurer for you – including the reasons why this particular place of treatment is necessary.

How far do you actually drive?

Day to day within about sixty kilometres, and when needed as far as Freiburg, Würzburg or Heidelberg. Rehabilitation trips take us all over Germany.

When can I reach you?

Monday to Thursday 06:30 to 24:00, Friday 06:30 to 04:00, Saturday 09:00 to 04:00. On Sundays and outside these hours we run patient transport on request.
