Zöschingen, Ziertheim, Wittislingen, Haunsheim, Medlingen and Bächingen are part of our everyday catchment area, not exceptions to it.

Admission, discharge, outpatient clinic – three different trips
The three cases look the same from where you stand, but your insurer treats them differently. So that you know where you stand:
Admission and discharge
Inpatient, meaning with an overnight stay. Your insurer covers the trip without prior approval. All you need is a Muster 4 form – on discharge the ward issues it.
Outpatient appointment
Consultation, check-up, examination. This trip is only reimbursable in exceptional cases and needs approval. Ask us beforehand – we will tell you frankly whether it applies in your case.
Who pays for the trip to hospital?
- Hospital admission and discharge: Your insurer covers the trip without it having to be approved in advance.
- Prescription: Form Muster 4. For the discharge trip the ward issues the form – ask for it before you clear your room.
- Co-payment: 10 per cent of the fare, at least 5 and at most 10 euros per trip. Children under 18 pay nothing.
- Billing: directly with your health insurer. You pay nothing up front.
- Just an outpatient appointment? Then an exceptional reason and an approval are needed. Call us and we will tell you whether that applies in your case.

Seated – and what that means
Our vehicles are set up for seated transport. A walking aid, rollator, oxygen unit and folding wheelchair travel with you. If you cannot be transported seated, please tell us when we first arrange the appointment – we then organise the trip through a partner firm or point you to the right place, rather than leaving you stranded on the day.

How long does the trip from Syrgenstein to the hospital in Dillingen take?

Dillingen at 21 minutes against 28 to Günzburg. Where you go, though, is decided by your referral.
I am insured with AOK Bayern. Do you bill them?
Yes, directly. We bill with all statutory health insurers, whichever federal state they are based in.
Is there a dialysis centre in Giengen, should that become necessary?
No, there is none in Giengen. The nearest centres are Dillingen, Günzburg, Heidenheim, Aalen and Ulm – we drive to all of them regularly.
How late can I book a trip?
Same-day is usually possible. For an admission with a fixed appointment, a call the day before is more comfortable for everyone.
