Transport to oncological treatment in Aalen

Königsbronn 16 kilometres, Steinheim 23, Heidenheim 27. The B19 runs straight there, with no motorway and no city traffic. If you need regular infusions, that saves you the longer route to Ulm – and the hunt for a parking space on the Eselsberg along with it.
- One treatment, a whole day. We do not plan the trip to the minute, but with leeway for the blood test and waiting time.
- On the way back we drive gently. After an infusion every bend is one too many – we know that and drive accordingly.
- No call centre, no hold queue. You reach us directly, on the day of treatment too.
- Accompanied inside. It depends on how you are feeling – it is needed more often than people think, and it costs nothing extra.
- A companion costs nothing. Please still let us know in advance that someone is coming along.
- When radiotherapy is added, it is the same address. We arrange the appointments so that they do not turn into two separate trips.
Prescription, approval, co-payment
- Prescription: Form Muster 4, issued for the whole series – not per trip. Your treating practice issues it.
- Approval: Oncological chemotherapy counts as a high-frequency treatment, box 1d on the form. It requires approval, but insurers grant it as a matter of course for this indication. We obtain the approval for you.
- Co-payment: 10 per cent of the fare, at least 5 and at most 10 euros per trip. Children under 18 pay nothing.
- Co-payment exemption: With a long series of trips the annual cap is reached quickly. After that you pay nothing at all – applying to your insurer is almost always worth it.
- Billing: directly with your health insurer. You pay nothing up front.
- Tip on the co-payment limit: Over a year of treatment with weekly trips it is regularly reached. Keep the receipts – after that the co-payment falls away entirely.

Where we stop, plainly put
We transport seated. A rollator or a folding wheelchair comes along as a matter of course, and we load and unload it ourselves. If you cannot leave your wheelchair, call us anyway: we have a partner firm for that and organise the trip, so you do not have to keep searching yourself.

That is not our decision. We drive wherever you have been referred, and both just as reliably.

Yes. You give us the appointments and we enter them – even if there are weeks in between. After that you never have to call again.
Can you collect me if I finish earlier than expected after the infusion?
Yes – just message us on WhatsApp or give us a quick call, usually about half an hour beforehand, or the practice lets us know. Then we pick you up right on time.
Do you bill private health insurers as well?
With the statutory insurers we bill directly. Privately insured passengers receive an invoice to submit themselves – please tell us beforehand.
