Brenz Taxi drives in Giengen, in all four districts – and from here to anywhere. Klinikum Heidenheim is about seventeen minutes away, Ulm a good half hour, Munich Airport a good hour and a half. Medical transport is billed directly to your health insurer.

Giengen lies at the lower end of the Brenz valley, closer to Ulm than to Heidenheim – and that changes the arithmetic. Ulm University Hospital is about thirty-two minutes from here, Klinikum Heidenheim seventeen. If you have an appointment, you need to know when the car pulls up. This is where our business is based, and most of the day’s rides start in this town.

Giengen and its districts

The town has four districts, and they lie at different distances. Hürben adjoins the town directly, Hohenmemmingen is a few minutes away, Burgberg and Sachsenhausen are a little further out. A taxi that only serves the centre is not much use here – we drive to all four.

Your destination is not in the table? We drive there all the same – the list only shows the most frequent ones. Route values without traffic, from the town centre. From your own front door it can be a few minutes more. For the pick-up time we add ten minutes to the driving time and round up to the next five – for airports we allow considerably more, because check-in does not wait.

Where we pick you up

At your front door, that is the normal case. Not at the corner, not at the next car park. If you have luggage we carry it to the car and out again at the other end. At Klinikum Heidenheim we pull up at the entrance, not at the barrier. At Giengen station we stop right by the access, so the walk to the platform stays short.

Booked in advance or right now

Both work. A ride tomorrow morning at six is booked with one call. A ride in twenty minutes usually is too. For a fixed series – dialysis, radiotherapy, a course of treatment over weeks – you tell us once and it stays in our schedule.

What a ride costs and how you pay

In town we drive on the official taxi tariff of the Heidenheim district. For longer trips – airports, Ulm, Stuttgart, Munich – we agree a fixed price beforehand, so you know the figure before you get in. You work out the fare yourself with our fare calculator. In the car you can pay by card: girocard, credit card and contactless, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cash works too. For medical transport with a prescription you pay only the statutory co-payment; the rest goes directly to your health insurer.
